A Couple Of Couch Potatoes Started Selling Potatoes With Clever & Amusing Messages Written On Them

The Potato Parcel is yet another example of the power of social media networking.  The 24 year Alex Craig is just one of the many Millennials who have opted to break the tradition of leveraging the college degree and the mountain of student loan debt in a job market that barely allows you to break even.

He a friend of his decided to create a website that promoted the purchase of potatoes with clever and amusing messages on them.  The company was feature on the Shark Tank and the two young men pitched the idea and provided proof of concept by boosting sales in the excess of $200,000.00 in a thirteen month period.

The business idea is simple, has a low barrier to entry and was totally unimaginable to traditional thinking and as a result of these young minds bold enough to think that anything is possible they landed a deal with Mr. Wonderful Kevin O'Leary for $50,000.00 in which Mr. Wonderful will be paid a one dollar per potato sold until he receives $150,000.00 and  he will also retain ten percent equity in the company.

I'm thinking it time to pay more attention to my kids unorthodox ideas, they may just be the next big thing!
